This week NDSU (North Dakota State University) welcomed students on Monday August 23, 2021. Although it started off rough with the Covid-19 pandemic still ongoing since March of 2020, the University is still maintaining guidelines to protect one's health on and off campus, including the downtown area which consists of Klai and Renaissance Hall for the architecture majors. Stated by NDSU’s Student Health Services, “NDSU is offering a $100 COVID-19 vaccination incentive to students enrolled in Fall 2021 who are fully vaccinated. Along with free walk-in/ scheduled appointment for asymptomatic and symptomatic COVID-19 testing on campus for students as well.” (COVID-19 | Student Health Service | NDSU).

Although Covid-19 is still effective, fall sports are in full swing. This coming weekend, the NDSU Bison football team is hosting a home game against the Albany Great Danes on September 4. The volleyball team is traveling to Chicago, IL for the Chicago Invite and are playing against Charlotte, Chicago State (Sept.3), and Niagara (Sept.4). Cross country and soccer are out of state as well for their games this weekend as cross country is at UND and soccer is at Dixie State in Boise, Idaho. Due to away/out of state games, fans and students are not able to attend. On the other hand NDSU will still be cheering them on from home in Fargo, ND.
