On September 4, North Dakota State University Bison played the Albany Great Danes on their home turf for a season opener and won with a final score of 28-6. With that being said they maintain the longest consecutive home winning streak in the FCS at 20 games. Not only do they have the longest consecutive winning streak but also a dominating home game opener streak with winning 65/67 games over non-conference opponents. Impressive and impeccable is the least one could say. The only question left standing is, will they win another championship?
After having 3 consecutive championships from the years of 2017-2019, the bison were looking to take home another trophy in the year of 2020. With Trey lance, first round draft pick, going pro into the NFL as a 49er it became difficult to find another star quarterback who could lead the team to another championship. This year Quincy Patterson, a transfer from Virginia Tech, has stepped up to the turf with becoming NDSU's starting quarterback and has done a remarkable job with doing so. On the September 4th game, Patterson went 12 for 16 (75%) with 115 passing yards along with 1 touchdown.

Reggie King #29 goes the distance for NDSU
This Saturday, September 11, the NDSU Bison took on the Valparaiso Beacons at their home turf once again for week 2. The Bison pulled through with another home game win and couldn't be more excited. Fans, players, and coaches were also not surprised with the final score being 64-0. By the way it looked NDSU had a dominantly stronger offense and defense with competing against Valparaiso. On September 18, the Bison will be taking on the Towson Tigers and will not have another home game until October 9, against the Northern Iowa Panthers.
